I found a really cool new exercise that’s great for strengthening your core and will undoubtedly make you a better surfer. It’s called shoveling snow. No, I’m not talking about some exercise you do with a Pilates ball in a warm, comfy gym.

If you’re tired of the same old crunches, here’s a great exercise for the abdominal muscles that’s quite challenging. As with other Pilates exercises, it will strengthen your core area. This exercise also will build arm muscles, although you can do it without dumbbells if it’s too difficult.
