The kids are heading back to class. The mercury will soon be falling into territory that’s less than hospitable for outdoor physical activities. It’s not always easy to find the motivation to get back into the gym, though. So maybe it’s time for you to go back to class, too. Fitness class, that is. Variety is the spice of life, says East Bank Club personal trainer Noby Takaki.

The first time is not always the hardest one as proven by Suzy Kindel, who debuted in the 2010 Escape from Managaha with ease. Kindel was among the 27 swimmers who successfully completed the Managaha to Micro Beach race late last month.
